Dominick Chang

Dominick Chang recently completed NYU's undergraduate Music Technology program. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, but mostly grew up on the north coast of Jamaica.  The electric bass guitar is his primary instrument, however while attending NYU he was able to expand his art practice by exploring new technologies grounded in the visual arts and multimedia, working with programs such as MAX/MSP.  With this program he is able to create generative and reactive visuals, allowing him to then work with bands, film sets, and installations, creating custom light shows and visual projections.  While in school he worked in the Music Technology department for two years holding various positions and is now currently working as a freelance audiovisual engineer of mixing, live sound/lights, production and post-production sound for film & television.
