His video work has explored the movement, shape, and limitations of the human body, while also focusing on the manipulation of light, layers, and abstract images. Mitchell is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington, where he studied music composition under the instruction of Janice Giteck. He has recently returned from South Korea where he worked within EPIK (English Program in Korea) as a public, elementary school guest English teacher.
